Our Traditional TKD program preserves the original spirit of Taekwondo as a true martial art and way of life – exactly as the Korean masters intended.
Main focus:
• Self-defense, character development, and mastery of the body and mind
• Deep study of the classic techniques, including hand strikes, joint locks, throws, and pressure points
• Respect, discipline, humility, perseverance, and indomitable spirit (the 5 tenets)
• Balance between physical power and mental strength
What you will train:
• All traditional poomsae (Taegeuk + Palgwe series in some classes) and the classic black-belt forms (Koryo, Keumgang, Taebaek, Pyongwon, Sipjin, etc.)
• Real self-defense applications (hosinsul) against grabs, punches, knives, and multiple attackers
• One-step sparring, three-step sparring, traditional free sparring (less emphasis on points, more on effectiveness)
• Breaking (kyokpa) with power, speed, and special techniques
• Meditation, breathing exercises, and the philosophy of “Do” (the Way)
Perfect for:
Students of all ages who want more than just sport – who want to forge an unbreakable character, learn real self-defense, and follow a lifelong path of personal growth.
Many of our students train both programs (Sport on some days, Traditional on others) because the two sides complete each other perfectly.
Whichever path calls you – or both – we are here to guide you every step of the way.
Choose your focus… or master them all. 🥋
